Due to the widespread social distancing policies in order to combat the coronavirus pandemic, Faith UMC instituted the following plan effective April 5, 2020:

  • Suspension of Sunday lunch programs indefinitely.

  • Suspension of all-in-person Sunday services and activities.

  • Monitoring of city and state guidelines of when to re-open in-person activities (current projection is June 14, 2020).

  • Each small group to decide on how to meet. Contact your small group leader for more information.

  • Institute livestreaming English Contemporary Service via Zoom on Sundays at 11:30 AM (password: faith).

  • Institute recorded Chinese services via Youtube effective June 14, 2020 for access by Chinese worship attendees.

Additionally. the office of the Bishop of the Cal-Pac has recently released these recent guidelines to guide our reopening. Please click through and read to find out about some protocols that will need to be met in order to reopen again safely. Currently, the district office is not reviewing applications for church re-opening at this time. Any updates can be found on this page. Currently, the church council has submitted a plan for re-opening to the conference office and are waiting for approval.
